We are on Oracle 19c with force logging turned on for a dataguard standby. I dont have stats from 11g, but it seems to me that 19c is generating quite a bit more redo than 11g did. Has anyone else noticed this?  Anyone have any numbers on it?

What doV$SESSTAT and V$ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY say? Who is the culprit for the most of the generated redo? If you get the answer from both versions, you may be able to draw some conclusions. I no longer have anything older than 19c so I can't help you.
