This would help only if the app passes in the module info when initiating the connection/logging in.

You could also poll & sample V$SESSION and list which are the most common module names where the v$session.LOGON_TIME is close to sysdate (to sample the short-lived most recently logged in sessions).

Btw, normally you could enable detailed stats collection for some service_name/module combination only:

EXEC DBMS_MONITOR.SERV_MOD_ACT_STAT_ENABLE('LIN19C', 'MyModule');

And then use V$SERV_MOD_ACT_STATS to see the counters by service/module/action, but it looks like the *logons cumulative* metric is not collected by module/action in there (so you can get only service-level counters from V$SERVICE_STATS)
