Hi –



We are having the intermittent timeouts with few jobs and after restart Job is finishing fine



DB Version 11.2.0.4  OS is AIX



Error :  Error while parsing ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred



Oracle is saying its TCP timeout issue and below is snippet from log

[25-MAR-2020 18:06:36:955] nsopen: unable to open transport





Oracle is saying unable to open transport is not the Database Error and should be checked from network side and n/w team is saying there are no packet drops and no issues from  their end



Local_Listener parameter is pointing to public IP as opposed to VIP – Does anyone seen this before?
