Oracle DBA Job Opening....

We, here at NITS Solutions in Novi, MI, are looking for a mid to senior level DBA to join our team. This is a regular full-time job that is mostly based in our Novi office, with limited work-from-home opportunities.

The job will primarily entail standard Oracle DBA responsibilities, including:

• Installation, patching, and upgrade of Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Database. (11.2.0.x - 19c and beyond)
• Understanding of Oracle Security policies, managing roles, privileges, network ACLs, etc.
• SQL tuning and optimization, working with developers.

Beyond the standard Oracle DBA duties, we are an AWS shop. Our entire environment (beyond the minimum required for local office support) is on AWS. The DBA will also be responsible for Virtual Private Cloud configuration, launching and terminating EC2 (virtual machine) instances, S3 storage manipulation, and learning and utilizing various other AWS services as the need arises. AWS experience is not required, but would be good to have. We are (by we, I mean me :-)) willing to train on AWS.
