Re: Oracle Development on 18c XE

Hi Ethan,

if your company is an Oracle Partner, you can easily develop under the OPN license. There are several de-facto restrictions, such as no testing with customer personnel. But many partners I know use exactly their target setup as development environment this way. The partnership fee is not exactly cheap, but still reasonable compared to an SE2 or even EE license including possible options.
