Hi Niall,
I know that. CoW triples your I/O rate on write while "redirect on write" remaps the original LUN to the news blocks. That is what I was referring to as "optimized CoW". Everybody knows what CoW is, but not everybody is familiar with redirect on write. A little inaccuracy for the sake of clarity, same as the Niels Bohr model of atom.
