Under Solaris10 the scsi_vhci driver rebuilds the /dev tree so that (in our case at least) multipathed luns from 2540 arrays appear in the same location across the nodes.

On top of that we're running Sun Cluster 3.2. Update 1 was recently released and saw something about 11g support but wasn't paying too close attention as we're on 10g.

We actually use ASM on the SC created DID pseudo devices as these can be cluster aware so that, for example, partition/slice changes are immediately visible across the cluster.

May also want to consider ZFS for the non clustered fs.
