But how well are those open source databases instrumented ? How deep under
the hood can you look when stuff doesn't run as fast as you'd like it to
(other than reading the source code to try and figure out what's going on) ?
For me that is one of the most important features of an rdbms database - and
Oracle's instrumentation kicks butt :)
