This subject has been raised here numerous times in the past,
and the result is always the same:
- very few will ever summarize
- when summarizing, it is very likely that important details will be lost
- always posting to the list is more likely to incite good conversation
- always posting to the list is more likely to incite flames
- there are often good reasons for not posting to the list (use your
imagination)
- none of this really matters, as everyone will do exactly as they please
