Paul,

I believe if you trace the SQL with 10046 level 8 a little bit that p2 value for db file sequential reads are not going to be one after the other, so proving that fact 3 + sometimes fact 2 from what Christian said is true.

Of course my assumption that block id's are increasing inside the file (p1 values) should be true :)
