There is a file called $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/sql.bsq which you may have on your system and which says:
create table obj$ /* object table */ ( obj# number not null, /* object number *//* DO NOT CREATE INDEX ON DATAOBJ# AS IT WILL BE UPDATED IN A SPACE
That means that TYPE# = 10 is "NON-EXISTENT".
