Has anyone tried using cygwin? My guess is that this would work there. (URL Escapes me but I could find it if there's interest)

For those that don't know, cygwin is a GNU environment built to run in MS. They've got everything from gawk to XFree86 to Gnome. (useable under most flavors of windows) I'm sure mkfifo is there.. if netcat isn't, I could give an example that works using rsh. (or ssh)
