Hello everyone,

I can't really think straight at the moment - got a cold and just = returned from holidays! So was hoping that you'd help me out...

In our Oracle 8i database we have a table with a BLOB that is frequently = inserted into and deleted from. We're keeping 1 week's data. Physical = size for the lob is currently 14.5G. The LOB is in-row, chunk size is = 8K, db_block_size is 8K , tablespace is 100M uniform allocation.

So how do I find out the actual space usage in this BLOB? How do you = determine its free space? Can it benefinit from a rebuild?=20

TIA, Leng.
