Hi all,

Can anyone please point me to any resources about "best practices" for DBMS_STATS in a production environment. I've RTFM'd and know about all the possible options (BLOCK_SAMPLE, METHOD_OPT) with a reasonable understanding (I think!) of what each does.

But what's missing is how to put it all together effectively. (ie. I know what all the parts of the engine do, but I don't know how to drive...!)

Many thanks
- Charlotte
