A quick question from someone who's been sheltered far too long: Is=20 $50 now considered a great rate in the USA? The last time I had reason to look (which was 5 years ago) Oracle developers were=20 _starting_ at $65. I know there has been a massive deflation, but I had no idea it was this bad

Subject: Dallas/Tokyo DBA opp

For the right person this is a great opp, so although I have no vested = interest in the position, I thought I would post the info.

Position is local to Dallas but requires a week and a half in Tokyo once = a month. Term is 9 months plus. For a single person that would be = great! Rate is around $50. 5 years plus and DW/Siebel/Solaris exp is = desired. =20
