Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: RMAN Recovery without Catalog
Hello Steve,
Thanks for the reply.. I am still not clear.. will it read it from HOST_A ? What if i have already backed up using RMAN but for recovery don't have the catalog.
Say : Backuped up HOST_A database using RMAN to DISK1.
Now when I restore without catalog.. will it read from DISK1 or HOST_A ?
Well, if i duplicate the database using RMAN.. it should read from HOST_A directly.
Thanks agian.
