Good strategy, that one. Similarly, read the manuals for version X+1 if you want to find out what version X can actually do.

On the other hand, most people do a single bulk load to get data into the test system - and this doesn't represent the way the data appears in real-life, so they get an over-optimistic view of what's going to happen. Since ASSM addresses concurrency problems by "randomly" scattering data on arrival, then you have to be MUCH more careful about how you build your test system.
