Back to the original question of 64-bit: No, you are not limited to the 2GB process size limit in 64-bit Windows. With 32-bit, process size was 2^31; with 64-bit, I believe the WIndows limit is 8 terabytes (which is less than 2^63).
Check out the 64-bit Intel/Oracle10 TPC-C full disclosures at www.tpc.org (for example, Unisys). The Unisys benchmark used over 112GB in the various buffer caches. No PAE or AWE window required.
64-bit is a big breakthrough for Oracle on WIndows because there are no longer limits on PGA and buffer cache sizes. Fibers and huge pages are also great features, as is the profile-guided optimization in the Intel compiler.
