Did you do a full backup or a level 0? If you want to do incrementals, you
first have to have a level 0 as a starting point. A full is not quite the
same. See the docs for the differences.

Subject: Rman error
Hi,
I am using Oracle 8.1.7.0.0 on windoze 2000 server . While taking a backup using Rman (control files and no catalog) I received the following error PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'GETINCREMENTALSCN' . RMAN-06097 The full backup goes through perfectly . Only when theincremental backup starts this error crops up .
Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this problem.
