I know Access can handle 128 connection theoretically but 40
practically and with some third-party adapted can handle more.
But then most end users do not understand this. They only want ease of use and flashy user interface.
Next time people tell you Access is better than Oracle, tell them why eBay, Amazon, Dell don't use it for their big "main" in-house databases.
