I liked the thread so much, I compiled a list of the answers. All I need is 2 more and it is a top ten list. I know someone out there has somother answers...

Front page of this weeks Computer Weekly, announcing Microsoft 64-bit SQL Server....

<quote>

     Large databases which use more than 4Gb of data run more efficiently on 64-bit systems
<end quote>

If 4 GB is large, I wonder what MS calls 4 TB ?

  1. Too Big
  2. 2000 Access databases
  3. marketing opportunity
  4. very very very very very large
  5. buffer overflow
  6. tuberculosis
  7. impossible
  8. No, no, no. They recently hired the former Iraqi Information Minister to report that SQL Server now uses an algorithm that makes TB dbs behave like small dbs. From now on, only 4 gb dbs have the characteristics of large databases. 9. 10.
