Deleting some//all the child records from the child tables and th e corresponding records in the parent table(s)

The other day you sent me the query to find the direct and indirect relationship between tables. In thesame way is it possible to delete all/few lower level records based on the column value of the parent table? If so, could you please send me the SQL queries for the same?

Please note that I cannot enforce the 'ON DELETE CASCADE' rule on the foreign key constraints. Any help in this regard is very much appreciated.
