The developer 6i should have the net8 to install so you can connect to 8.0.5

We used ORACLE developer 6i on PC. The ORACLE Developer 6i use ORACLE 8.0.5
client. We don't have ORACLE 8.0.5 client. Does their has way to make ORACLE Developer 6i connect through 8i client?
