tnslistener brute force trigger?

all,

i have been attempting to find a solution to set a trigger / alarm mechanism on the listener for brute-force attempts. we're trying to get something useful logged so we can forward it to an ISD system or what not.

ideas? i have done a bit of research and found nothing useful so far.

am i missing something?
