error code 3113

3113 end-of-file on communication channel

This is a very common error and encounter many times, but generally down the databae and up again solve the problem, but this time i m not able to handle it by doing that...
What is the remady and..
" WHAT ARE THE CAUSE FOR THIS ERROR ??" Why it happened..??
