We have also complained (in writing) to our Sales Reps and have
asked for a
patch backported to 9.2.0.1 release. Since
9.2 is supposed to be the
terminal release for 9i, and
10i (or whatever they call it) is at least a
year away,
we (and others as well) would like to have (and not just hope
for) a bug free 9.2 environment. Now that COE is talking about OWI
based
tuning (Note # 283852), Oracle should fix this bug
in 9.2.
