Just to prevent any confusion: We are having a Hotsos Clinic this December in Hawaii, but February's Symposium event is "only" in Dallas. :)

Since performance tuning is just one aspect (although extremely important)
of my DBA role I would choose IOUG thinking that I would get performance info. as well as other aspects of my role covered and could pick/choose. Although a conference with Cary Millsap would always be great - the variety
