RE: Alternative to Crystal Reports

I've never used it, but this may be worth a look at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/datavision/

It looks to be a little rudimentary, judging by screenshots, but you never know. And it appears to be in beta, but there's a lot of activity on the project right now.
