Hi List,

I keep on taking exports from oracle on one machine and import the data from the export file onto anothermachine . I usually face a problem of character set conversion due to which import fails. So I have to take the export from the same machine by making a Net8 entry point to that server.

Anyway is there some way or utility by which I can determine the character set of the export from the export file.

Thanksin advance
