what is the latest db that will support ***CLIENT-SERVER*** "6i" developer tools?

(Windows 2000 server.)

Is it only db 8.1.7?

If so, is db 9x ever going to support "6i" developer in client-server mode?

the morons on metastink have been giving me a run around for weeks, and the "lifecycle" matrixes are like "alice through the looking glass".

thanks,
ep
