just a clarification, maintaining your certification will NOT require a $2000 course, just the cost of the upgrade exam....

"Because you are already an Oracle Certified Professional, you are not required to complete any course requirements to upgrade your credential to Oracle9i status. You will simply be required to take the appropriate OCP DBA upgrade exam(s)."
