Give your damagers a Quest Spotlight monitor ! It has all the nice gui stuff
that damagers like to see, and they feel good about it. Plus it is different
colours, which gives them the illusion they actually know what is going on
inside and lets them think they are in control !
As for you, set up a real-time monitoring filter on your alert log, at least you know exactly why your sphincter suddenly tightens at the sight of ORA-00600 in your production DB alert log.
