Oracle-L: DB_BLOCK_CHECKING and DB_BLOCK

Hi everybody,

I'm soliciting opinions on whether or not its a good practice to enable DB_BLOCK_CHECKING and DB_BLOCK_CHECKSUM. How much overhead is associated?
