You might want to check out Jared's site since he kind of likes perl.

Hi DBAs,

Environment is Oracle 8.1.6 NT 4.0

What is the best way to connect to Oracle using Perl? I do not want to hard-code password in script if not necessary. I could not find a way to embed
in dsn creation. Any suggestions/working examples on how to achieve this is appreciated? I do not have any kind of password server.

Thanks
Rick
