We are looking into purchasing a shared scsi disk array and placing a 1u = or 2u server on the front end to run oracle. The shared scsi disk array = would contain all the database files with the server containing the = archived log files. We are hoping that this setup would easily allow us = to go to the 9i RAC in the future as our needs arise. Anyway...we have = been looking at a couple of different products and the only information I = can find on them is from the vendors themselves. As always, the vendors = are going to say that their product is the best. Here are the products we = have been looking at.

Rocketstor 500-S from zzyzx peripherals
NexStor 3000S from NStor
Flashdisk Openraid from Winchester Systems.

I was just wondering if anyone on the list has had any experience with any = of the above products running their database, the performance of the = product and the reliability of the product.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA Danny Hughes
