Well if Ari lurks, perhaps he'll catch on that someone else may be
interested in his product. Yes, I do apply different standards to products
based on who I'm talking to and what they own, but also on what they've
done.
Someone who has done a lot of Oracle admin gets a few extra points even if
he is
the CEO.
But darn, not another chief engineer/CEO running around!! That can be
troublesome since there comes a time to shoot the engineer and get to
shipping.
We have that situation around here & believe me you can always tell when he
re-spins the chips!! Oh Well!!

You're likely to get feedback from Ari Kaplan. Be aware that he owns the company, and will most certainly come through as very positive. The only reason I mention is that if Ari were to tell me about this magnificent product, I would apply a lot of weight to it based upon who he is; however, if the president of a software company were to tell me how terrific a product is, I might apply different standards. And who owns what is not commonly known. Looking at the demo he gave me, it looked good, but I haven't used it personally.
