RBS Tablespace Recovery

Hi,

I've been doing some testing on recovery scenarios and I've got a couple of questions about rollback segment recoveries.

I've taken my corrupted RBS datafile offline and opened the database. I then tried to create additional RBS's (for temporary usage) in the system tablespace. However, it gives me a ORA-1110 on the offline RBS datafile. How come it is doing this??? I was under the impression that I would be able to cleanly create additional RBS's on another tablespace.

Also, I have commented out the RBS paramater in the init.ora.
