Funny how they never mentioned HP-UX as Oracle no longer plays nicely with Sun.

Also, M$ obviously avoided the hard questions, although I do see SQL Server taking a chomp out of Oracle. You just can't charge $1,000,000 for a workgroup solution, people just don't have the money. Nor do they want to spend it. Oracle's big price cuts were all but nothing. Only the NT platform benefited from it. Till you hit around 1GHz there is hardly any savings if not more expensive. Intel is the only platform with CPU's in the GHz. It should be an interesting few years I would say.
