Is ORA_NLS the same thing as NLS_LANG? What is LD_LIBRARY_PATH typically set too? We are trying to upgrade from 8.0.5 to 8.1.6 on HPUX 11. 8.0.5 has NLS_LANG set to American_America.WE8ISO... but doesn't have anything for ORA_NLS. Want to know what to set it to for 8.1.6. Current 8.0.5 install also does not have anything set for LD_LIBRARY_PATH, but it appears it is necessary for 8.1.6? What is it typically set too?
