I am also getting this. I don't know what it is but I am getting this only for the instances on 8.0.5 not for the instances on 8.1.6. What is your oracle version ?

We have a client that has ora_i###_SID processes that are consuming CPU time.  I was asked what caused these processes.  Does anyone know.  I have looked on Metalinks and found nothing to clue me in.  This is for an 8.1.6 db running on Sun 2.7.

Thanks,

Terry
