SAP, IBM to unveil e-commerce alliance in next few days: report
FRANKFURT, June 11 (AFP) -
German software giant SAP and US computer giant IBM are expected to announce
a comprehensive tie-uip in the area of e-commerce software in the coming
days, the daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported on Monday.
The alliance, between SAP's new US unit SAP Portals Inc and the global
services and business solutions arm of IBM, was expected to be announced at
the SAP trade fair, Sapphire, which opens in Orlando on Tuesday, the
newspaper said, without revealing its sources.
A spokesman for SAP was not immediately available to comment.
