Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: DB versions
ALL requests for changes to the database and /or tables are required to be in writing
(email or doc) in MY shop. I keep all creation scripts on a common location that only
I have access to. All changes are recorded in the scripts and timed stamped for
tracking purposes. Only tried and true changes get migrated to production after I have
taken an export of the effected tables.

I'd appreciate any info. anyone could provide on what method you use to
track database changes that have been implemented in
dev, test, stage and production. I need a way of tracking frequent
modifications to tables, packages, etc.. and wanted to get some input on how
others are handling this.
TIA,
Richard Huntley
