The client I work for (for the next 2 weeks at least) just made the decision to use UDB over Oracle due to the price of licenses from Oracle. And this is a startup with a big ol' pile of capital. Go figure, I thought startup's always picked the most expensive stuff. They must be saving on the DB for the skating rink.
