Fortune 100 company in Sacramento, California needs an Oracle Financials DBA to
join it's technical team.
This company at the top of their field and is looking for the best of the best.
This is a staff opportunity so please no contractors or 3rd parties please.
*Responsibilities will include:
-Create and maintain all Oracle and Clarify database instances
required for development, testing, education and production usage.
-Manage and perform ongoing tuning of all production and development
database instances.
-Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain the
database instances.
-Control migration of programs, instance changes, reference data
changes, and thin client system changes through the development to
production life cycle.
-Implement and enforce user responsibilities and security for
all databases.
-Enforce and maintain database constraints to ensure
integrity of the database and/or instances.
-Perform database re-organization as required to assist performance and
ensure maximum up time of the database.
-Produce standards to ensure that all application design and
code is developed with proper integrity, security and performance.
-Will be Involved in evaluation of new systems management and
software tools.
-Will Provide technical support to application development teams.
-Will Troubleshoots problems related to Oracle ERP
database/instances, applications and development tools.
*Requirements:
-Position requires extensive knowledge of all Oracle ERP applications and
their dependencies with HP UNIX 10.2x.
-Working knowledge of enterprise thin client technology such
as Citrix, MetaFrame, and Oracle 11i required for Next Generation
development and deployment.
-Requires a bachelor level degree in Information or Computer Science or
computer related technical area, or their equivalent in directly related
experience.
-At least three years experience working with Oracle
applications and systems.
-Understanding of extensive enterprise production and development environment.
-A hands-on knowledge of HP UNIX 10.2x & 11.x is essential.
-U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is also required.
