RE: 8.1.6 STANDBY DATABASE vs REPLICATION

Both, I'd like one copy of the schema for my developers to test and modify and the other copy must be updatable same as the primary source.

It's neither. What you described is just copying a database from one server to another. Standby and replication requires setup that's more than just copying datafiles.

I tried to export/import, I lost data and constraints. So now I'm considering
replication or standby database.

Do you have a good solution?
