oracle cliënt

Hi all

Is it a problem to have oracle 7.3.4 cliënts and a oracle 8.1.7. server enterprise edition,
or is it also necessary to upgrade all the cliënts as well. Most of our applications are developed with Delphi and connect via the Borland Database Engine.
