RE: URGENT: Why are there so many Oracle (LOCAL=NO) processes?

Larry,
Check your listener.log file to see if it is generating a lot of errors. You may need to bounce the listener to clear it. I have seen this when the listener starts erroring and for some reason goes through some sort of infinite connect loop.

Does anyone know why so many of these Oracle processes named (LOCAL=NO) have suddenly shown up? So many in fact, I can't bring up SVRMGR until I kill them, but they keep coming back!
