Linux, autoinstall tailored Oracle client

Hello,

My company is planning on building an install CD. A customer will boot off the CD and autoinstall Oracle client (tailored to talk to our production database) and our propritatory software.

Since I'm new to Linux, I'm hoping someone on the list can point me in the right direction. Has anyone done this, or know of someone who has?

Any information or referrals are appreciated.
