how NOT to create arc process trace file

i get the following line in the arc  trace file each time the the log is
archived !



ARC0:  Archiving block 96129 count 128 to : '/hd3/SASSArch/1_1176.dbf'
.......



is there any way NOT to write this trace file ? as it gets really long, i
dont want to 


know that block number nnn is copied to 'filename'...
