Basically allowing for easy searching of text and varchar fields by building word indexes outside of the standard SQL Server tablespaces. Is there a similar tool in Oracle? I guess a last resort would be to build your own word indexes in Oracle ... but some sort of handy built in function or package would be nice. it's 8.1.6=20 thanks ...
